Tooth Crown or Bridge Treatment

We recreate broken or lost teeth using ceramic aesthetic materials that offer a natural shape and color. This includes impressions, clinical photos, X-rays, and anesthesia if needed. Note that dental technician fees are not included, but you will receive these at our cost price.

When you have a large cavity or break a tooth, a crown may be necessary. A bridge can also be made if multiple teeth are involved or if a tooth is missing.

During your first visit, the dentist will prepare the affected tooth, take impressions or scan your teeth, and send them to the technician. You will agree on the color, and a temporary solution will be provided until your new crown or bridge is ready for cementing. At your next visit, the crown or bridge will be attached to the tooth.

Sometimes, a crown is required for a tooth, usually when a large portion of the tooth is missing and cannot be rebuilt with a standard filling. A crown provides a more secure and durable solution to hold the tooth in place. Other reasons for needing a crown include worn-down teeth or extensive cavities (caries).

Bridges are used to replace missing teeth or gaps. To secure the new teeth, adjacent teeth are reduced in size, creating anchor points for the bridge.

Crown and Bridge Procedure
The process of creating crowns or bridges typically involves two visits:

1. First Visit: You’ll discuss the desired color and material for your crown or bridge. Impressions of your teeth will be taken and sent to the dental technician. A temporary solution will be provided until the permanent crown or bridge is ready.
 
2. Second Visit: We will check that you are satisfied with the color, shape, and fit before cementing the final construction in place.

At our clinic, we use a digital scanner to capture images of your teeth, scanning each tooth individually, which eliminates the need for traditional impressions. Many patients find this method more comfortable.

The price for the crown or bridge is determined by the dental technician, and we do not charge extra for the creation of these restorations. You only pay the technician's fee, which varies based on the complexity of the crown or bridge and the materials used. Our dentists will guide and inform you throughout the process.
